Details:
Wade’s estranged wife had promised to make sure he had food and water in the trailer where he lived after she moved out. Instead, she left him alone there with his two dogs, without food or running water, and without a phone to call for help, and spent his Social Security checks. Wade’s body was found months later alongside the bodies of the dogs. His cause of death is undetermined, but due to neglect.

James Chewning

James’s stepson, who had financial power of attorney over him, took him out of the retirement home where he had lived since his stroke. James was a retired Methodist minister. He is remembered as “a man of God”, mentor to his community, kind and caring.
