Details:
Tyson lived with his ex-girlfriend, who had recently started dating their housemate. The housemate became angry and hit him in the head with a hammer, killing him. They buried him in a shallow grave. For the next seven months, they pretended Tyson was still alive by impersonating him on social media and stole his disability pension from his bank account.

When Charles’s sister began receiving text messages from him that included misspelled words, she became suspicious: Charles, who was blind, normally used speech-recognition to send text messages.

When his body was found, it became clear that Charles had been shot to death by his wife. She had sent the text messages to make it seem like he was still alive.

Samantha was stabbed to death, and her boyfriend was charged with murder. Judson’s father put him in the car and led the police in a high-speed chase. He crashed the car, killing Judson. Refilwe Monamodi

Name: Refilwe Rebecca Monamodi.

Details:
Refilwe’s daughter strangled her and threw her into the family’s swimming pool. Her four-year-old grandchild witnessed her death at the hands of her own daughter.

After she died, a police sergeant reported that he had often been called to the house on domestic violence calls. Refilwe had regularly been beaten up by her daughter, but was unable to press charges, probably due to fear of victimization or economic dependence.

Before her disability, she had worked as an advocate (that is, a barrister–a type of lawyer).
