Desmond’s teenage daughter, worried that Desmond would turn her in for a murder she and another man had committed, killed him by suffocating him with a cushion. Desmond’s body and that of Rosalyn Hunt, 41, were soon found and Desmond’s daughter and her partner in crime were arrested.
Case Status:
Lorraine Thorpe (daughter) was convicted of both murders and sentenced to life with a minimum of 14 years.
Paul Clarke was convicted and imprisoned. He died by suicide in 2014.
