Police arrested Paige’s son in someone else’s shed, where he had allegedly broken in. As they arrested him, he told them that his mother was dead. Police checked the home and found Paige’s body. Her son claimed that she had had a seizure, fallen down the stairs, and broken her neck; but the autopsy showed that she had been strangled.
