Details:
This baby girl was one of a pair of twin sisters. Her sister, the larger of the pair, was strong and healthy; but the smaller girl was having difficulty eating and was not gaining weight. The twins and their mother lived with their grandmother, and their father visited often. On one of these visits, their father was alarmed to realize that the smaller twin had disappeared.
After a search, the missing baby was located in the bushes around the house, with injuries consistent with a fall, and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. Police who questioned her mother say she was frustrated with the baby’s illness and confessed to killing the baby by throwing her from the balcony.
